      J. M. DAVIS Steel package freighter built in 1913 at Ecorse, Michigan by the Great Lakes
Engineering Works (Hull #106) as a) BOSTON. (US 210990). 350 x 48.1 x 30.9; 4,357 gross tons. Renamed b) J. M. DAVIS in 1925.
      Converted to ocean service in 1943. Sold to Argentina in 1950 and renamed c) CANOPUS. Broken up at LaPlata, Argentina, winter 1976-77.
