Ruby (Tug), 1884

The year of 1884 was a red letter period in local fishing for it was that year the first steam operated fish tug operated out of the Dunkirk harbor. The tug RUBY was 40 feet long and had a beam of ten, feet. It was owned by Captain Jim Smith and E Sweet.
