The new fore and aft schooner REPUBLIC, built by Jones, is 126 feet keel, 26 feet 6 inches beam, and 10 feet 2 inches hold, and 300 tons burthen. She is owned by T.P. Williams and Charles Wheeler of Milwaukee, and Captain Cross, who is to command her.
