LAUNCH AT PALMER. -- The new propeller GOLIATH was launched at palmer on St. Clair River on saturday last, at 10 o'clock, and went off, we are told, in fine style. She was owned by W. Truesdail, Esq., of this city. We regret to hear an accident occurred on firing a cannon, by which two men were injured. One named Patridge had both arms fractured -- another lost the finger of one hand. Detroit Adv.
