GREAT SALE
      STEAMERS, -- SCHOONERS, -- BARGES.
      The subscriber will sell at Public Auction, in the City of Kingston
      On THURSDAY I2th. of APRIL next.
      (at noon, if not previously disposed of by private sale, the whole of their stock of Steamers, Schooners, Barges, viz.-)
      STEAMERS
Steamer "TRAVELLER" double beam engine, 9I horse-power.
Steamer "CITY OF T0RONTO" double beam engine, 100 horse-power.
Steamer "CANADA no. 1" Horizontal engine, 65 horse-power.
Steamer "CHARLEVOIX" single beam engine, 65 horse-power.
Steamer "GILDERSLEEVE" single beam engine, 65 horse-power.
Steamer "AMERICA" single beam engine, 66 horse power.
Steamer "SIR CHARLES NAPIER"single beam engine, 75 horse-power.
The whole of the above steamers have been employed as tugs, and are well known to the trade.
The steamers "NAPIER" and "GILDERSLEEVE" are powerful tugs, and would answer as passenger steamers, their cabins being still in good order.
      SCHOONERS
Schooner "ORION " built in I853; capacity 2,500 barrels of Flour, is one of the fastest sailers on the Lakes, and is fore-and-aft rigged -- well found.
Schooner WILLIAM FORD " built in 1853; capacity 3,000 barrels of Flour; square rigged forward, and is well found.
      BARGES
Barge "GLASGOW" capacity 2,000 barrels of Flour.
Barge "CAROLINE." capacity 2,000 barrels of Flour.
Barge "SOLVAILLE" capacity 2,500 barrels of Flour.
      FOR CHARTER TILL THE FIRST OF APRIL, BY TENDER
Steamer "STAR" 45 horse-power, low pressure beam engine, cylinder 31inches, stroke 8 feet; has cabin on main deck, well adapted for day trips.
Steamer "CANADA no. 2" 45 horse-power, low pressure beam engine. She is a good tug, suitable for tugging about the harbor of Quebec, or elsewhere.
