The "MORNING LIGHT," fore-and-after has been launched from the yard of Presley & Stevens. She is owned by William Hae, Chicago and Captain A. Davis of this city, who will sail her. She measures 125 feet keel, 26 feet beam, 10 feet 6 inches hold, and about 335 tons. She can pass the canal, and is a fine vessel in every respect. -- Cleveland Herald

MEASUREMENT OF VESSELS. -- The Cleveland Herald says: The officers at the Custom House measured the following new vessels just built at our ship yards, viz; the schooner MORNING LIGHT, built by Stevens & Presley for Capt. A. Davis, master of the barque STANNARD, and Wm. Hae, of Chicago Her dimensions are, length 127.88 feet; beam 26.07; hold 10.77; tonnage 331 and 68.95ths. tons.
