Full Text: LYCOMING REBUILT INTO LUMBER CARRIER.
Tonawanda, April 13. -- James O'Connor, owner of the steamer LYCOMING, being rebuilt from a packet boat into a lumber carrier, says that the vessel will be ready to leave Buffalo on its first trip in the lumber trade the latter part of next week. The LYCOMING will have a capacity of nearly 1,200,000 feet of lumber. The steamer and its consort, MELVILLE BACON, will carry 1,800,000 each trip.
