BODY TAKEN TO DETROIT FOR BURIAL
      Daniel Mahoney was appointed yesterday morning to be master of the steamer CHARLES REITZ and sailed for Toledo before noon. The body of Capt. Chamberlain, who was stricken with apoplexy on board the REITZ outside Buffalo harbor and died in a local hospital, was taken to Detroit for interment.
