Capt. Alfred Mitchell of Cleveland, who recently made a trip to the St. Lawrence on one of the vessels of the Toledo-Cleveland-Ogdensburg line (BADGER STATE and EMPIRE STATE) says that the service is more generally satisfactory than that of any steamboat line on which he has ever traveled.
