The STEEL KING last of the five steamers building for J.C. Gilchrist was launched at the Lorain Yard of the American Ship Building Co. at noon on Saturday. She was christened by Miss Agnes Gilchrist.

Steam screw STEEL KING. U. S. No. 117134. Of 4,308 tons gross; 3,366 tons net. Built Lorain, Ohio, 1902. Home port, Cleveland, Ohio. 380.0 x 50.0 x 28.0 Of 1,450 indicated horsepower. Crew of 19. Steel built.
