      Among the best records for cargo handling made this season at the port of Chicago is that of the steamer SHENANDOAH, which entered the harbor at South Chicago at 3 o'clock last Saturday afternoon with .3,300 tons of ore and left at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon with a cargo of 161,000 bushels of oats.
