      November 20 - Kingston Shipyards reports work is being done on the former CSL's BATTLEFORD to prepare it for its trip south. They report she will clear the Lakes as a steamship and will operate as such for a short period. Then it will be used as a dead barge and perhaps later it may be converted to a diesel.
