It is now time to stop the new misstatement going the rounds concerning the prop. NEBRASKA and ROANOKE of the late Commercial Line. Chicago papers are informed that the NEBRASKA is equipped and in business, whereas she is still tied up in the Blackwell Canal, where she was taken last season. The ROANOKE at Chicago, is reported as to be sold this week and put in commission at once. Mr. Danforth, who represents Mrs. Hamilton ????? ????? and the vessels of the line in the late litigation, states that the steps represented as a sale of the ROANOKE are merely the buying up of claims against her and going through the form of foreclosure and sale in order to secure a perfect title to her. This weeks; "sale" of her is not the first one made lately, in all of which she has not changed hands. Parties are negotiating for both vessels and it is quite likely that they will be sold this season.
