Maritime History of the Great Lakes

Tecumseh (Schooner), 29 Sep 1832

Description
Full Text

THE TECUMSEH. - This new and beautiful Schooner the property of Willaim Baby, Esq., will start on her first trip about the middle of the ensuing week. In workmanship, materials, sails or rigging, the TECUMSEH is not surpassed by any other vessel of the same class on the upper lakes. Her register is about 50 tons, but she will probably carry sixty. We wish her youthful and enterprising owner success.
