Prop. ADRIATIC has been purchased by J. Ballentine & Co who will convert her into a barge for the lumber trade.

Prop. ADRIATIC is to be dismantled. Formerly plied Chicago to Buffalo and more recently to Lake Superior has been purchased by Capt. D.C. McAlpine.

The engine of the prop. ADRIATIC has been in use for 15 years is going back to the furnace. The boat itself will be a tow barge in a few weeks.
