Launch of new steamer CITY OF DETROIT at Wyandotte. Built by Detroit Dry Dock Company. Cost app. $350,000 when finished and furnished. 284' keel; 297' 6" overall by 41' beam. A compound beam engine of 2,500 H. P., wheeels 26' diameter.
