The new tug built at Buffalo by Captain C. Gibson has been purchased by Captain George Hand for his line. She measures 69 feet long by 15 feet and 9 inch beam, with a depth of hold of 8 feet 9 inches. She has an engine with a cylinder of 18 inches bore and 20 inches stroke, and a return flue boiler which is 6½ feet in diameter and 12½ feet long. The complete cost of the tug is $8,500.

She measures sixty-seven feet over all, sixteen feet beam, and eight and one-half feet depth of hold. Her engine will have a eighteen-inch cylinder, with a twenty-inch stroke
