Full Text: These Are Busy Days at Buffalo Dry Docks.
The plant of the Buffalo Dry Dock Company is kept busy these days getting boats in shape for the opening of the season. The steamer S. S. CURRY went into No. 1 Dock this morning to be fitted out with 50 new plates. The W. L. SMITH is having 41 plates put on in No. 2 Dock, besides a new rudder and shoe. The steamer OSBORNE is being fitted with a new rudder, and the steamer JAMES LAUGHLIN will go into dock on Monday for bottom repairs, the extent of which is not known.
