ARRIVAL OF A NEW SCHOONER. -- The new schooner NORTH STAR, launched at Ludington on the 27th of May, is in port on her maiden trip. She is of the smaller craft. She is substantially built, and with a view to business rather than beauty, and when times revive may make a living. Her dimensions are: Length of keel, 72 feet; over all, 83 feet; breadth of beam, 18 feet 8 inches; depth of hold, 7 feet 8 inches; measurement, 70 tons. She is owned by the master, Captain Henry Johnson, and others. She was built by Andrew Johnson, and cost $60,000.
