Description
Full Text

As a result of the transfer of the tow barge J. BARLUM, from A. E. Stewart and others of Detroit to H. J. Webb & Co. of Cleveland, F. W. Wheeler & Co. of West Bay City, will build for the Detroit parties a steamer, which will be a duplicate of the TAMPA and SAUBER, built recently at the same yard. Wheeler & Co's plant having eight boats under way is now as fully engaged as the owners desire to have it, but it is reported that the keel for a fourth big wooden steamer will be laid down at Davidson's West Bay City yard shortly.
