Capt. William H. Loutit of this city, owner of the steamer IONIA, has just closed a charter with a South Chicago furnace company to carry ore from Escanaba to that point. Capt, William McGregor has made a similar charter for his steamer MARY BOYCE and consort, MARY A. MCGREGOR. The steamer CHARLES STREET, also owned by Capt. Loutit, will carry ore front Escanaba to this point the same as last season.
