Goderich, Ont., Sept. 10. -- Captain james C. Parsons, a mariner known in all Lake ports, is dead here. For many he commanded both canadian and American vessels and was one of the few survivors of the wrecked steamers SIMCOE and CUMBERLAND. His last command was the steamer MANITOU of the Manitou Steamship Company.
