St. Catharines, August 2. -- A fine well proportioned steam-barge, named the NIAGARA was launched on Saturday afternoon from the ship yard of M. Simpson, at the fifth lock. Her dimensions are: 144 feet over all; 25 feet 2 inches beam; and 12 feet depth of hold. She is valued at $32,000.
