Huron (Barge), 3 Sep 1875
- Full Text
At Port Huron the work of preparing the barge HURON for a dry-dock is actively progressing, and a large force of men is daily employed upon her. Her arches will be removed to her sides, and an addition of three foot will be made to her sides. An examination of her bottom was made the other day, and the frames and ceiling found as perfect almost as when she was built.
