The propeller OSWEGO which has been for some time on the stocks being remodeled, lengthened and improved, was launched yesterday and went off in fine style.
The oswego is now 124 x 20 feet 3 inches and about 280 tons burden. Her propellers have been enlarged, and her accommodations for the transportation of passengers and freight, much increased and improved. She belongs to Doolittle & Mollison's Line and we understand is to sail for Chicago on the 13th.
The VANDALIA which is to be similarly improved will be ready for launching early in July. -- Oswego Adv. 7th.
