The car ferry PERE MARQUETTE No. 18 was launched at the Cleveland yard of the American Ship Building Co. on Saturday. She was christened by Miss BeatriceLogan daughter of Robert Logan, designer of the ship.

      Steam screw PERE MARQUETTE No. 18. U. S. No. 150972. Of 2,909 gross tons; 1,722 tons net. Built Cleveland, Ohio, 1902. Home port, Port Huron, Mich. 338.0 x 56.0 x 19.5 Of 3,000 indicated horsepower. Crew of 30. Steel built.
