TRADE WITH CLEVELAND, OHIO. - By the Cleveland Herald of the 5th inst. we notice the arrival, at that Port, of the following vessels from Oswego, via the Welland Canal, during the week ending on that day:
Schr. Hunter, Bush, cargo salt. " Robert Burns, Davis, do " North America, Jenison, mdze. " Emily, Dorchester, Burr blocks and merchandize. " Winnebago, Child, merchandize. _____
The Schr. Ariadne, owned by our enterprising citizens Jesse Smith & Co., arrived at this Port from Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday last, via the Welland Canal, in the short passage of five days. If this is done now, we may safely predict that the passage to and from Cleveland, may be effected inless time, after the completion of the Welland Canal to Gravelly bay, which we are assured by good authority will be the case August next.
