NEXT SATURDAY WILL WITNESS FOR LAUNCHINGS.
Cleveland, Oct. 16. -- The American Shipbuilding Co., will make a record next Saturday, when four steamers will be launched at as many of its yards. The carferry steamer ANN ARBOR No. 4, built for the Ann Arbor railway Co., will be launched at the local yard. The steamer D.R. HANNA, which will have a capacity of 10,000 tons, will be dropped into the water at Lorain. The HANNA is building for the Pioneer Steamship Company, of which Capt. Charles L. Hutchinson of this city, is manager. The steamer J.S. DUNHAM will be operated by the Chicago Steamship Co., will take her first dip at Bay City, and the launching of the steamer P.A.B. WIDENER is the last of the four 600-footers building for the Pittsburg Steamship Co., to be launched.
