SCHOONER ARENDAL BEING OVERHAULED.
Sturgeon Bay, Wis., June 3.-- Another lake schooner is at the shipyard for an overhauling preparatory to being taken to the coast. This is the ARENDAL, formerly owned by the Skeele Lumber Company of Chicago, which was sold to the Bahama Transportation Company, which also purchased the steamer ALBERT SOPER recently. The ARENDAL was brought here from Muskegon, Mich., by Capt. Louis Larson and will be at the shipyard for a couple of weeks or more, after which she will leave for the coast. A lake schooner will soon be a novelty, nearly all the old-timers having this year been purchased by eastern parties for trading on the coast.
