The Propeller Cleveland. - The Propeller Cleveland made her first arrival at this port, since resuming her place in the Northern Transportation Line, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. She has made one trip from Cleveland to Ogdensburgh and back, and is now on her return trip.

She has been all newly built above the main deck, and is as staunch as any vessel in the line. By the politeness of Captain Williams and Captain Bryan, passenger Agent at this port, we were shown over the Cleveland and found that in many respects she has been improved and is indeed a model vessel.

Her cabin has been enlarged, and splendid berths have been fitted up, each of which is provided with life preservers for the use of the inmates in case of emergency. These life preservers are made after a new patent and is capable of buoying up 500 pounds. The work on the Cleveland which has been prosecuted with remarkable dispatch, was done at Cleveland under the supervision of Mr. A. C. Keating, Superintendent of the line. The Cleveland is commanded by Captain W.H. Williams, of this city, who, although a young man, has displayed qualifications as an officer second to those of no other commander in the line.

Captain Williams has a fine boat and he knows how to run her. On her recent trip from Chicago to Ogdensburgh and return, he made the passage in a little less than fourteen days, which is pretty good time. We wish all success and many prosperous voyages to Capt. Williams and the Propeller Cleveland.
