UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
      Northern District of New York.
      WHEREAS a petition has been filed in the District Court of the United States of America for the
      Northern District of N. York, on the eighteenth day August in the year of our Lord one thousand
      eight hundred and forty-eight, by Isaiah T. Williams, Esq., Proctor, in behalf of Gibson T. Williams,
      Rufas L. Howard, and George L. Newman, against the schooner WING-and-WING, her tackle,
      apparel and furniture, stating that there is due them for articles, materials and supplies, furnished
      by them at the special instance and request of Christopher Goulder, the master of said schooner,
      for the use of the said schooner, the sum of one hundred and fifty six dollars, and sixty eight cents:
      and further stating that said supplies & C., were furnished between the 18th day of April, 1847 and
      the 20 day of July 1848, and that the master of the said vessel neglects and refuses to pay said
      sum; and praying that their said demand may by the said court be allowed and decreed to be paid.
