DAMAGED WHILE IN A TOW. - The bark BRITISH LION, which was in tow of the tug JOHN MARTIN at the time of her being run down, sustained serious damages by colliding with the same vessel which sunk the tug - the schooner in question being the NABOB. The LION's damages will reach not far from $500. The NABOB, it is stated, is also seriously injured, and will cost considerable for repairs. Both vessels have arrived at this port. - Detroit Free Press.

The tug JOHN MARTIN, which was sunk some weeks since by collision with the schooner NABOB, on Lake Huron, and afterward raised and brought to this city for repairs, is now again in commission. Aside from a slight damage to a portion of her hull, she is today as reliable a tug- boat as when first built. Her machinery and boiler are in complete order, and a new cabin has been placed on her, and having been neatly painted up the MARTIN, will, as heretofore, continue a favorite while in service on the rivers. - Detroit Free Press.
