- Niagara Harbour And Dock Company
This company having at considerable expenditure of capital constructed a Rail-Way for hauling up Steam Vessels and others for repair; and having also excavated a Basin for their protection during the winter, now offer to the publick their terms:
Rates for hauling up Steam-Boats. 100 tons and under Every ton over 100 at 2s 6d. cy.each. 24 hours allowed the boat from the time she reaches the Cradle until she leaves it.The charge for remaining on the Rail-Way after the first 24 hours, as above mentioned, will be 7 1/2 cy. per ton, for each day. £ 10 0 0 Rates for hauling up Sailing Vessels. 100 tons and under £ 6 5 0 Every ton over 100, 1s. 3d. cy. each. - For remaining on the Rail-Way after the First 24 hours, 6d. cy.per ton for each day. Owners of vessels will be allowed to employ such mechanicks as they choose, to repair their vessels, while on the Rail-Way or in Harbour, and no charge will be made for any vessel using the Basin the ensuing winter.
