      The Board of Lake Underwriters reports the bark MARY JANE, laden with wheat from Chicago, ashore at Long Point, C. W. The steam tug MAGNET, of the Home Insurance Company, has gone to her relief.

      ASHORE. - The bark MARY JANE, owned by Captain Murray, of St. Catharines, is ashore at Long Point with a cargo of wheat. The tug MAGNET goes from here to her relief as soon as the weather subsides. - Detroit Free Press.

The bark MARY JANE went ashore last fall near Long Pt. The tug SARAH E. BRYANT, Capt. Robertson, with a crew of picked men, went to get her off but was unable to do so, returned here on Saturday afternoon. Capt. R. obtained additional force and returned for a second trial Saturday last.
