Phoenix (Propeller), broke machinery, 1 May 1847
- Full Text
The Propeller PHEONIX. -- We are glad to learn that the accounts which have been published in regard to the extent of the damage done to this vessel by her accident, are much exaggerated. We learn from Mr. Pease, one of her owners that the cylinder head which was broken, will be replaced as soon as an extra one already on hand can be sent from Cleveland. - Buffalo Express
