LOUISIANA Steamer, ashore on Whales Back, Green Bay. Got off. Property loss $250.

Chicago, Oct. 13. -- The steamer LOUISIANA ran on a reef near Green Bay, on Saturday night. At last accounts her bow was 5 feet out of the water, with great danger of her breaking up. Her cargo consisted of 160 tons merchandise for Green Bay.

NOT SO. -- The report that the steamer LOUISIANA was ashore near Green Bay, is incorrect. She has since arrived at Collingwood, and left on her return to Chicago with a full compliment of freight and passengers.
