THE CRESCENT. -- Capt. Harry Faith, of this vessel, arrived at Chicago yesterday on the propeller SUN, says the Tribune of the 28th, and reports her lost on the North Fox Island. She was bound to Chicago with a valuable cargo of molassas, white lead, &c., and on the 21st, while at anchor, dragged and struck but once tillshe broke in two. The crew were three days on the island, under canvas, and nearly frozen trying to save the cargo, a portion of which was got off. She was owned by Meadowcroft, of Chicago, and is reported insured for $7,500.

We learn that the schooner CRESCENT, which went ashore at Beaver Island, last fall, is a total wreck. She went to pieces on the 10th. of December. She was loaded with merchandise and bound for Chicago. About $6,000 worth of her cargo had been saved in a damaged condition. - Milwaukee American, 7.
