TOTAL LOSS. -- Several day since, says the Cleveland Herald of the 25th, we reported the bark BLACK WARRIOR ashore in the Straits, and the departure of the tug RESCUE from Detroit to her relief. On Saturday the tug returned to Detroit, bringing down the crew and the sails, having been unable to relieve the vessel. She lies forty yards from shore, one and a half miles east of the Sheboygan light, or Duncan's Mill, this side of Mackinac, in twelve feet water. Her bulwarks are carried away, and her hatches burst open. She is supposed to be broken in the middle. Nothing of course can be done with her cargo this fall. She was owned by Barney, Corning & Co., and was insured. Her cargo consisting of 50 packages merchandise, 50 bbls high wines, 50,000 shingles, 400 tons R. R. iron, 2250 galls stoneware, was shipped by Eddy & Co.
