STEAMER FASHION WRECKED.- The steamer FASHION, Captain Newbury, running between Chicago and Green Bay, during the dense fog of yesterday, struck a rock, three miles this side of Kawaunee. It was found necessary to run her ashore, where she sunk in eight or ten feet of water. She had on a large load of passengers and freight. Our informant states that she lies on a reef of rocks, and if subjected to a heavy sea she will go to pieces. It is but a few weeks since the FASHION was re-built, from the effects of a similar disaster. ---- Sheboygan Journal, Sept. 27.

The steamer FASHION, which went ashore some time since, near Kewaunee, was got off Wednesday morning last by the aid of the steam pump, and arrived at Milwaukee on Friday night. She is considerably damaged in the hull, and has been hauled out on the railway for repairs. We congratulate Captain Newberry of the success which has followed his persevering efforts. ------ Chicago Journal
