HELFENSTEIN Brig, in gale on Lake Huron, lost deck load and damaged 265 bushels wheat. Property loss $400.

LOST HER MAINBOOM. -- The brig HELFENSTEIN arrived down yesterday afternoon with her main boom carried away. She arrived in the River St. Clair some two days since, but owing to the severity of the weather, was unable to make more rapid progress. --- Detroit Free Press.
