Schooner MAGPIE, lost bowsprit &c., in collision at mouth of Chicago River, involving Brig SENECA and Schooner DENMARK. Property loss $100.

MARINE ACCIDENT. - Evening before last the tug MORTON, in towing out the
schooner DENMARK, attempted to cross the bows of the brig SENECA, which was
coming in under canvass, but in so doing the two vessels collided; the SENECA had
her bowsprit and all her head gear carried away; damage to the DENMARK was
trifling, mearly carrying away her bob-stay and stem. The schooner MAGIC lost
her jibboom in the same collision. - Chicago Tribune.
