Propeller NEPTUNE, and Schooner NIGHTINGALE collided on Lake Huron, damage to former $800, to latter $600

COLLISION. - We learn that night before last, the schooner NIGHTINGALE, of
the Lake Navigation Company's Line, collided with the propeller NEPTUNE, on Lake
Huron. The NIGHTINGALE struck the NEPTUNE on the larboard bow, and raked the
whole side of that boat, carrying away one arch post, ten or twelve stanchions, part of
her cabin work, and nearly all her upper rail. We did not learn that the NIGHTINGALE
sustained any material damage. The NEPTUNE arrived here yesterday morning, and
proceeded on her voyage. - Detroit Free Press, 23.
