Steamer BOSTON (C), and Propeller PROTECTION (C), collided in the River St.
Lawrence, the propeller sunk.

The steamer BOSTON and propeller PROTECTION came in collision on the St. Lawrence, Thursday last. The latter contained a valuable cargo of European merchandise for Toronto, and sunk in twenty feet of water; mostly insured.
