PROPELLER ST. JOSEPH ASHORE. - A despatch to Bagnall & Dobbins, from
Painsville, says the propeller ST. JOSEPH is ashore six miles east of Fairport. She
lies easy, head off, about 40 rods from the bluff, with the sea breaking over her. Crew
not yet landed, and the wind blowing very hard from the north west. The St. JOSEPH
was bound for Toledo from this port, with a cargo of general merchandise, which is
insured. The propeller belongs to the Western Transportation Company, and is not
insured.
