CARRIER DOVE Schooner (C),cargo wheat, sprang a leak in gale on Lake Ontario, put into Kingston, and from thence to Oswego.

The brig SAMPSON is reported ashore near Sandy Creek, below Port Ontario. She is owned by Reed & Stone, of this city, and cleared on Monday night for St. Catharines, with part of a cargo of coal. A Canadian schooner, loaded with lumber, is reported by a fisherman ashore two miles below Port Ontario. The schooner ADMIRAL, bound from Toronto to this port with wheat, lost some of her sails in the gale, and was driven down to Cape Vincent.
The schooner CARRIER DOVE, with wheat from Hamilton to this port, put into Kingston leaking, and was towed over Tuesday night by the steamer AMERICA - A portion of her cargo is damaged. The schooner STAR OF THE NORTH, from Chicago, arrived yesterday afternoon with loss of fore sail and main gaff. The latter was carried away when the vessel was coming in between the piers.
