BRIG ASHORE. - Capt. Kyle, of the schooner ALTAIR, arrived here yesterday,
and reports seeing a black brig, which he supposed to be the E.C. WILLIAMS,
ashore between Bailey's Harbor and Death's Door, Lake Michigan.

ASHORE. - The brig reported ashore proves to be the C.P. WILLIAMS, owned
by Mr. Gardner, of this city. One of her officers arrived here yesterday, and
reports her on the rocks five miles north of Bailey's Harbor, and says one pump
can keep her free. The tug SALVOR went to her assistance yesterday afternoon,
and we may look for her here before the close of the week. - Chicago Trib. 12.
