. . . . .
The schr. ALWILD from Buffalo to Black Rock, with a cargo of coal, struck a snag in Black Rock harbor and sunk, deck under water. A day or 2 ago she was raised by Holly's Patent Steam Wrecking pump in the short time of one hour. This pump is on an entirely new principle, very compact, easily transported, easily set up, operates instantly without priming, and delivers continous stream. Bagnall & Dobbins have been appointed sole agent for Buffalo and the lakes. Specimens of this patent adaption to all purposes, can be seen at their office in the Custom House Building.
