Schooner INDIAN QUEEN (C), cargo of lumber and spars, struck on a reef in Georgian Bay, lightened and got off and into Penetanguishene, where she was run ashore in a leaky condition. A steam pump was put on board and she proceeded on to Chicago. Property loss $2,000.

      The Canadian schooner INDIAN QUEEN struck a rock and made a hole in her, in Georgian Bay. She was run into Penetanguishene Harbor leaking badly. Assistance has been sent to her.

      The Canadian schooner INDIAN QUEEN arrived in port yesterday from Sturgeon Bay, with a cargo of lumber. She went ashore at Sturgeon Bay Point, and had to be pumped out by one of the Buffalo Mutual Insurance Co.,, steam pumps, which she brought into port with her. She draws water at the rate of 14 inches per hour. She is owned by Charles F. Fitch of Toronto, and was insured with the Buffalo Mutual for $13,000 ----- Chicago dispatch, undated
