      A letter dated Hamilton, Sept 21., says the brig OCEAN struck a rock 12 miles below Kingston a few days ago, and sunk. A pump will be sent to her assistance today by Messrs. Bagnell & Dobbins. She is worth about $6,000 and owned by Henry Waters of Chatham. She had a cargo of timber bound down.
