MILWAUKEE BELLE Schooner, collided with the Schooner J.C. RIGGS off Fighting Island. Property loss $100.

The schooner J. C. RIGGS, bound down with wheat, and the MILWAUKEE BELLE, bound up, collided on Sunday evening, near Fighting Island. The RIGGS had some of her rigging carried away, and railing broken, and was towed back to Detroit for repairs. The BELLE sustained very little injury.
